Leader - Creative Minds classes

Monday 4:30pm-6pm and 6:30pm-8pm

Role Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art and Performing Arts Workshop Leader to design, plan, and deliver engaging art and performing arts workshops for young people aged 12 upwards. This role involves developing and producing artworks that tie into the upcoming showcases or performance opportunities, while working collaboratively to encourage young people to challenge themselves to create multi-genre projects.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and deliver engaging workshops in visual arts, theatre, dance, music, and mixed media.

  • Encourage creativity, self-expression, and personal development.

  • Collaborate to create multi-genre pieces for showcases and performances.

  • Maintain a safe, organised workshop space.

  • Train and support volunteers.

Qualifications and Skills include:

  • Degree or equivalent in art, performing arts, education, or a related field.

  • Experience with young people, especially those with additional needs.

  • Strong knowledge of various art forms.

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Salary:

Starts at £25 based on skill set and experience level.
