OPERATIONAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Each student comes on a bespoke package determined by their education budget holder, which may be a school, an LA or an individual parent. Contracts are either linked to specific students. Contracts are offered on a term by term basis.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • Confidently contact and liaise with Local Authorities to discuss invoices and outstanding payments
  • Confidently contact and liaise with Schools to discuss invoices and outstanding payments
  • Complete weekly staff payroll – including payments and filing of invoices and record keeping
  • Dynamic invoicing for Advocacy work – which is often flexible and adhoc, requiring the successful candidate to have strong record keeping and invoice skills
  • Being the first port of call for parents, carers and members of the community wishing to use our space and expertise for training course. You will be responsible for invoices and booking admin.
  • Confidently reconciling VAT and returns using QuickBooks(Intuit)
  • Raising invoices for our commissioning and ensuring these are paid in a timely manner
  • Having the ability to work flexibly within a small admin team, alongside The Director of Education

  • Communication with a child or young person and the wider team will be holistic in approach and not just verbal in basis. Receptive skills and an understanding of how communication may come from a range of sources is important, as is the ability to recognise and moderate your own expressive communication, including body language and vocal tone and model these skills within the setting.
  • Personal self management and regulation skills are necessary in a successful applicant.
  • An understanding and respect for following procedures, policies and guidance from professional sources is vital.
Qualifications demonstrate our ability to present a skill on cue. As a specialist, it can be assumed you have a passion for and an ease within the area for which you are applying. Proof of qualifications declared is required as part of our safeguarding and recruitment duties.
